We just need to push the pace up a bit get the ball on the deck and we will stand a better chance in the 2nd half Balo can win this game for us
The ball came to Barry while he was facing our goal under pressure from behind and the sides. He made a simple, short pass to Lescott who fluffed it.

What's important is it's 0-0 at the half. We always get better as the game progresses. We've got a good chance!

Put under huge pressure by Barry. Not his fault.
Bullshit it's not his fault. Yes, Barry passed back to him, but he had no other real options. If the dent-headed bastard can't handle that pass, then he needs to sit the fuck down.

How about clear the ball? How about not turn back into your own area and boot the ball at your CB's midriff?

That's a bit unnecessary for me TBH. Fair enough if you have a go at a player for his contribution, but the guy is pulling on our shirt and there's no need to insult him like that.

So sick of Barry. He's such a liability and he puts his team mates under preasure time and time again. Put Milner on in his place at least he can pass and run faster than a snail.

That was why he handed it to Lescott. I just backed the whole damn match up and watched it again. All Lescott had to do was thump it long and he panicked. It wasn't at his midriff.

If it goes to extra time, could our extra day's rest (after half-arsing it against Liverpool) make a difference? The rags put in a shift against Chelsea.

Not either fault. Barry was put under pressure where he got the ball, and he tried to pass to Lescott who was retreating, Lescott kicked it out as best he could. So I wouldn't blame him. Thank God they didn't score, coz that might have ruined the goodwill Lescott has received of late.
Why apportion blame?...was a good passage of play by the rags....wankers
