City v Toon Attendance

Wednesday night, sub zero temperatures, 30 quid a ticket (minimum) I wonder what the attendance will be inside COMS?!
Its about time the club wised up! I wouldn't have minded going to this one but i refuse to pay such prices, disgusting!

And how much would you be willing to pay then, out of interest or do you think they should let you in free? Compare the prices with the rest of the prem and its good value. Personally i think you're a WUM. Prove me wrong.

You can tell how many will be there if you monitor the sales on-line.

When the bottom tiers sell out that usually means about 40,000 City fans plus away support.

It looks to me like there will be around 43-44,000 assuming a full Geordie 3K turnout.

About right - except that online graphic doesn't always seem to offer the top corners in the East and West suggesting they are sold out - but they hardly ever are.
Looked like it does now on the online sales site pre the Wigan game and that was 41,200 ish with those top corners empty.

You are correct about the corners, they rarely go on there. They must be exclusively for telephone sales or something. When the middle three blocks go light blue on the upper tier we are going to get a good crowd.

Love night matches. Good atmosphere. Good turnout and the right result. Can't wait!

whats a good crowd 34,000 in main rd made more noise than 44,000 at coms ?

The terms "Good crowd" is usually used to mean numbers.

For this game, 44,000+ would be a good crowd in my opinion.
