Re: We lost yet we won!! :)

doesnt mean anything...they can claim they were winning when it was 11 vs 11, even though City started the game with 10 men as nasri was nowhere to be seen

We lost yet we won - I don't think the team will be that gutted at all, just like the fans weren't.

We played 12 men and god knows what else influencing that match and with 10 men completely outplayed them in the 2nd half and it should have been at least 3-3.

I'm incredibly proud of the team (most of them) for that incredible show of team spirit and pure determination. They didn't get the rewards they deserve but this might bind them together even more.

On the positive side, the players get to sit out some FA Cup weekends and rest. A full assault on Europa League now?

Re: City v United FA Cup Post Match Discussion Thread

I had a half-time pint instead of the usual coffee to see me through what I thought was going to be a horrendous second half. Thought the team were magnificent and we could have got a draw in the end. A mate texted me before the game to say Foy was the ref and so we wouldn't be winning. How right he was....

Woke up at 8 in the states over here and thought about going back to bed after the first but stayed up for the slightest hope for a comeback in the second half. Couldn't have been prouder with the performance displayed. Absolutely brilliant!! Not many can put in a shift like Milner... just proud to be a blue CTID

And on and on and on and on the Arsenal fan drones.

He's joined a better club, get over it lad.

Re: City v United FA Cup Post Match Discussion Thread

there is part of me that wishes Mancini had made a substitution as soon as Kompany got sent off. I didn't like Milner going to right back because I thought we lost his legs and grafting in midfield. His subs at half time were spot on but I just think he could have switched things up earlier on. But it is what it is. We march on!

proud

Even though we lost today i am proud to say that i am a man city fan how many teams can come out 3-0 down at ht down to 10 men and playing against 12 and almost snatch a reply. The boys gave 100 % today but wasn't to be. But the fa really have to look at the abysmal refereeing again so inconsistent its getting beyond a joke. Rag fans will be saying go on blame the refs but we won 3-0 over dippers but yet again the ref was at best very veryt poor. Rags are fearful of us even with 10 we were the better team. COME ON BLUE BOYS!! Win the league and shut all these w**kers up!!

BLUE MOON RISING!!

Foy didn't give the red card Rooney did. If the fa don't overturn it it would set a bad example seeing as he bitched and cried after his England dismissal, shithouse of the highest order.

happy enough with 2nd half performance

the rags really could capitulate this season and as far as I am concerned the league is over & my focus is shifting to next seasons assault on the UCL

only downer for me was atmos like a morgue 1st half & the shameful chants at Ryan Giggs. some of our so called "fans" have no class.
