I posted that was an embarrassment which is what started the back and forth in the first place. The reason I said 5 years is because we've been a top side for the last 5 years. We could compare us to our time under Stuart Pearce or fucking Steve Coppell but what's the point?! Our finishing remains our biggest downfall. 9 shots from Sergio without scoring in a game must be some sort of unwanted record though. Gabriel showed again in just a few minutes why he might make a big difference.

We had more possession and shots than our average and conceded less shots than normal. We are very close in manys to be an excellent team, as Vinnie said.

United will be happier with the result but Liverpool will be more upset than City.

Completely agree (apart from Pep moving on). We totally dominated them. They were very worried and played the only way their manager would allow them. I really think we are moving in the right direction.
We all know the areas of the team that need addressing in order to play the system that Pep wants to play. I'm sure they will be addressed in the summer.
