City v Utd post match

Rags lowest possession stat since records began. And they're celebrating it!? How times have changed. They have a small team mentality.

Positives - Kompany was excellent, Kdb, ottamendi and Sergio played well, Jesus is back, totally owned them on the park, we don't have to watch united play anti-football again

Negatives - feels like we lost the game, peps subs are still iffy, our wingers, why the Fock are we so slow in build up, starting to wonder if pep won the football lottery with his timing at Barca and he's being found out! Hope I'm wrong

United were utter shite, celebrating at the end they didn't get beat. They were there for the taking. Wish Gabriel had more than 10 mins. Gutted the goal was offside.

All that passing and nothing to show for it. We really have regressed from our Mancini years. We have some of the best players on the field but we overthink it and try to do it the right way, the football way. Principle, doctrine, tenet, philosophy whatever it is it's putting our players in shackles. Too textbook, too calculated, and tactics by means of a flow chart. No organic creativity in the game.

Good for the first few months, but teams now seem to know most of the pages from Pep's tactical book.
Absolute bollocks!
