They put us under a lot of pressure and Kolo and Nastasic did a great job snuffing it out once Villa were past the fullbacks and/or midfield. Very composed.

Villa has some strong basics to complain after this one.

No , but 20 shots to their 10 says that we were better value than they were.

The players look shattered before we even kicked off... defensively we look pretty damn good. Everywhere else, well, meh.


Concern is that there isn't any signs of us even hitting any sort of form. At this rate, Spurs may well catch us.
