Just got through on the phone and there's a backlog of Cup scheme tickets to be processed for Villa. Seats have been reserved for those relocating but the transactions haven't been put through yet.

I've just rung them and although all the details of my new card were there apparently it still had a 'block' on it as if they hadn't been updated!! So he did it all again and now I have a ticket and it is registering on my account on the City website!! But, as always, unfailingly polite and helpful in the ticket office.

After seeing this i just rang them too. They said there had been a failed payment attempt but the seat is still reserved for me. They said another attempt will take place tomorrow. I clarified my new card details again just to check they had everything as i'm sure they didn't take my 3 digit security code when i updated them. We shall see what happens tomorrow
