City v Watford post match

Thought Nolito was excellent today, worked his knackers off.

After watching our sieve of a defence ship goals left, right and centre all season, happy as a pig in shit to see some pragmatism.

Thought we would draw 2-2, so I'm happy to be wrong.

Thought most of the team played well, barely giving Watford any glimpse of goal, so going to a back four worked out well in the end.

That was great. Only downside was Gündoğan's potential injury. The players seemed to be enjoying it tonight; cool at the back and inventive going forward. Nice assist KDB and brilliant to see Zaba score and clutch the badge in celebration. David was pretty sharp tonight, loved that goal so motm for me.

That'll do nicely. Thought we played well overall, considering they tried to stifle us by regularly going in heavy and breaking the game up. It never looked like it was going to be a free-flowing game and I thought we did well to find the spaces out there. We seemed to be at sixes and sevens with a few of our 'alternative' free kicks today, but with a win and a clean sheet I can certainly live with that.

Its a win, did,nt see anything to fill me with optimism for tougher test against Arsenal and Liverpool and it is those games we need to win if the title is to be still realistic come the new year.

What are people's thoughts on ilkay? Did it look bad?
He got up & carried on for a while, looked pretty distressed when he went off but he walked off. Hopefully just him fearing the worst rather than it being too serious.
