SeasonCards barely bring in £25m to City. It is nothing.

They could charge £100 less to each punter (which would be HUGE for the individual) and still make £21m (£4m is absolutely fuck all to a football club!).

If I remember rightly this year we were allowed 16 mill losses. We lost 7 mill so how can that 25 million for s/c be ignored. Besides I think most fans are fairly happy with s/c prices, it's match day and champions league prices especially for juniors that people are unhappy with.
It is the difference between £21 and £25m is that is nothing.

And have you seen how many people have given up their SCs at our club? Hardly anybody is happy with the prices of them whatsoever.

Even 4 million would have given us 11 million losses getting us closer to our limit, which we needed to stay well away from who knows what punishment we would get for failing again.
We don't know how many have given up season tickets, but nobody I know really wants a reduction , but they do want a freeze.

My season ticket.

5 years. £440>£690.
5 years.£690>£1000?(block111)

Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Tottenham priced season tickets are on the horizon at the Etihad.

But we're still selling them out so why do they give a fuck?
Well, they don't.

Well thats just the people you know, but going of this forum, city voice and many other people they all want a price cut in tickets. Many people including myself have had to give up going to matches. i think we get something like 150m if we win the league just from tv deals, surely that covers it ? 11 million is a fraction of what we get from the tv deal or sponsorships

Had a season ticket for forty years and in all honesty I can't see us selling out when we open the new tier, the penny will drop when we have rows of empty seats.

They will give them away just before so they always "sell out".

But we sill made a loss.
Look, I've seen Prestwich blue predict somewhere future profits of 10s of millions, I think I've even seen him mention 100 mill, I'm not saying when the profits come the fans shouldn't get a share of the cake, especially long standing fans. I'm arguing that up to now match day income can't just be written off as irrelevant just because it's a small proportion of income, because up to now every penny of income was important to try and pass FFP.

Perhaps if we stopped wasting £8mill and a 4 year contract on players like Scott Sinclair amongst others, then we might have more money to meet FFP. I'm sure if anyone was to add up all the money City have wasted on players and wages since Sheikh Mansour bought the club, we would be blown away by the figure. We'd have probably pissed FFP by now, not to mention a possible season ticket price freeze or reduction.

How much did it cost us to pay off Mancini and his coaching staff? Wasn't it roughly £20miill? And didn't we give Mancini a new 5 year contract just before doing that? Anyone at another company pulling that kind of trick would be straight out the door. But at the time it didn't matter, as money wasn't a problem, and neither was FFP until it got it's claws into our club.

Yes, when you put it like that, it's too scary to add up, then again what club can't point to terrible losses on players, even Chelsea over the years just look at Torres £50 mill down the toilet.

jrbs right, better management in the market would help...some of our buys and subsequent contracts have been eye watering. If I was the Sheikh I would want someones bollocks on a platter.

At least Chelsea seem to have got their act together in the transfer market and we need to do the same.
