I hope I don't regret this but Bournemouth are the masters at passing for the sake of passing. They never go anywhere with it. This should be a comfortable win for us tomorrow.

Agree with this and then most of the subs can be given a run out in the cup along with possibly Maffeo / Angelino etc keeping the majority fresh for the league game against Swansea

Aguero' suspension has it's advantages.

a) It gives Iheanacho his chance to shine and someone else can come onto the bench
b) We have the chance to put to bed the idea that we're useless without Aguero. The derby went a long way towards that.

Eddie Howe says Jack Wilshere is building up his fitness so is likely to start on the bench for Bournemouth against City this weekend.

Surprisingly, our win percentage without Aguero is actually higher than with him in the team. Unbelievable stat, that.

Pep: To win many games in a row in the @premierleague is complicated… I am never satisfied… There are no guarantees to play good. #mcfc

Pep: Defensively, we need to adjust small details, we still need a few things to improve but right now we are happy.

With Silva likely out, and Gundogan doubtful to be fit for 2 games in 4 days, I wonder if the new Mr Versatile will play in midfield tomorrow, especially as he seemed to finish there on Wednesday night ? No doubt there will be some unusual feature of tomorrows team. Perhaps even a Yaya return ?

I reckon either Sané starts through the middle in Dave's position or Nacho plays off Nolito with Sterling and Sané either side. Think Garcia will get a run out.

It'll be fascinating once again to see the starting line up, but I think he would have given Garcia a run the other night (once we went 3 up) had he been in contention to start tomorrow, but he moved Kolarov into some sort of midfield role, with Gundogan off, and Clichy at LB, hence my question.

Garcia isn't in the Champions League squad unfortunately and hasn't been here the 2 years for the B list. :(

Think Vinny might be fairly close to a return now as well, Stones has taken up a full time position as LCB seemingly.
