City Vs Arsenal post Game Discussion thread

The only negative from this match (and not really a negative) is that we could have won 3-0 or 4-0 if we had finished off chances. I felt bad for Nasri with that long through ball just out of reach for Balo as I have experienced that myself. You get excited at having such an easy chance and you think to much about the pass.

Souness hates Jamie Redknapp, it's a joy to watch
I don't know how he stops himself from dropping him.
Why? What has he said?

tbh they could have had few as well. I thought both keepers had fantastic game, and it was nice to see two teams go for it. I knew this game would be great as arsenal really dont do tactics

That game reminded me of Bolton and Blackpool at home last season, only better. Special mention for Zaba, i thought he was immense.

ZABALETTA by a smidgen over Kompany

So so so hard, and I think if Zab's shot had gone it he would have taken it. But Kompany was back to his last seasons best, and how he bought the ball out of defence with his dribbling is what he should be doing every single bloody game. Every time we hoofed it I groaned, and every time Kompany bought it out from the back we looked so much more likely to spring forward and hit them. Kolo was remarkably impressive too.

Positionally and awareness from Kolo is superior to Lescott imo. This allows Kompany to bring the ball out and have confidence in doing so.

For me Zabba was motm. Keeping out Walcott like this, credit to him.

Maybe if he is there against Sturrdige in last match...

But Barry, Kompany, Kolo, Hart worked so hard, they deserve praise too.

Wasnt not delighted with attacking product, missing 99% of our chances, losing the ball easily.

Keeping clean sheet today = 3 points.

Zab was fantastic!he really is the soul of our team.

Great performances all round,Barry and Nasri were excellent too.
