We need to play smarter. How many times did we needlessly give the ball away in the 2nd half ?

We seem to really lack control and composure at times and in our desperation to sow the game up invite our opposition on to us. We got away with it today but on other days we will surely be punished

My thought excactly !! " On other days we will be punished"..this was Arsenal ffs playing at their best and they couldnt...not many will.

This is a long way from being a great Arsenal team.

You really think we were smart giving the ball back to them so easily time after time ? I guarantee Robert won't be happy with that aspect

The only negative from this match (and not really a negative) is that we could have won 3-0 or 4-0 if we had finished off chances. I felt bad for Nasri with that long through ball just out of reach for Balo as I have experienced that myself. You get excited at having such an easy chance and you think to much about the pass.

tbh they could have had few as well. I thought both keepers had fantastic game, and it was nice to see two teams go for it. I knew this game would be great as arsenal really dont do tactics

My point was none of their chances fell short because of luck. They were either bad shots, our defenders took care of them, or Hart was up to the task. We had two or three chances that we failed to take or that crashed off the post. We defended well, in many ways they got lucky or benefited from bad decision/execution on our part.

As I said, just looking at what we can improve upon, though it is not really that much of a negative.

the ball deflected off a man who was 5 feet away at a blistering pace, could never be called hand ball as it's physically impossible to move out of the way.

Did Aguero go 90 with views on Dzeko to start against the more physical Stoke on Wednesday? I thought Kun was out of gas by about the 75th today
