City Vs Bolton Post Match Discussion Thread

Pizarro was superb, yaya's steam train runs were back, our passing was crisp and clean and our closing down to get possession back was brilliant.

Mario's finishing could have been better but on another day he could have had 3-4.

Only negative i can find, and its a regular one, is Johnson. I just don't think his intelligence matches up with the rest of the team, his decision making is poor.

For me AJ has struggled all season, a mere shadow of the player he can be

Having said that Bob is giving him a serious run in the team so he obviously is liking something

-- Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:47 pm --

I honestly think he is just trying to give Johnson a last chance before he decides to sell him in the summer, and i dont think he is taking that chance.

What comes to your mind anytime YAYA goes down???

Apart from the fact he's not protected by the referees in England, am very concerned he might get injured(I prayerfully hope he doesn't).

Against bolton, towards the end of the match when he was down in the box and took time to get up i was like 'OH MY GOD', this can't be happening.

Really want to know if you mates feel the same about this.

I'd have to agree with this ......

on at least two occasions today he made the wrong choices , although he did in some way atone for them with his excellent part in Balotellis goal ..... but he needs to get far more involved in the game than he currently does , and he needs to make far more happen.

AJ is not on the same level as a lot of our other players. If we can upgrade him in the summer that would be great. The rest of the side doesn`t need much tinkering with but we could do with a decent winger with bags of pace.
