It was around 15,20 years ago mate take you blue blinkers off, we very rarely sold out games in those days just like we don't now.Because fans had the attitude it wasn't going to happen.

There will be 40 thousand ish there tomorrow and a big slice of those won't be going because of similar reasons, we by and large have been poor in this competition.

Are you going to point the finger at every empty seat tomorrow night and say part time wankers why aren't you there.

I'm choosing CC over the CL is that okay with you?

We didn't sell out every game but those that went, went religiously regardless of the fair on offer and that was my point.

Of course, but it does not stop it from being incredibly disappointing. Champions League nights are supposed to be big nights of European football.

I don't blame fans for not turning up to be honest. I am going more out of a sense of duty to support the team than in anticipation of a good night
 
To be fair to FLB there are loads of fans who go to the prem games who don't go to the cup games and it's not always just cost etc. I know of lads who don't go because they don't like the competition, think it is corrupt and therefore don't want to be part of it. It's tourist central on CL nights at our place and it's a good job because if it wasn't there wouldn't be 35000 there.
 
I see either another Joe Hart super show or another hammering.If we got the showing we did against Stoke because the players were tired and we have too many injuries fuck knows what's going to happen tomorrow!

Borussia can't qualify - but they can come 3rd. If we score first, it's a different game.

Getting the first goal will be vital. Defensively we should be better. And Silva should be getting better after a long absence.
