I've a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better.

It really shouldn't. The 14 that will feature tonight are likely to be: Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy, Fernandhino, Yaya, Delph, De Bruyne, Bony, Silva, Kolarov, Navas, Sterling.

That's a stronger group than BMG can put out. They just need to play to something like their ability.

I've give pellers a good slagging this week so I expect him to ram my words right back down my front! Still won't change my view that hevis not a good manager or the man to take us forward! Happy birthday 21st sterling bag us a trick!

These lads are being asked to play football at a club that do not play the system of football they have been trained to play in, they need minutes in a blue shirt before any decisions can be made.
But what happens if we change our manager and style what do we do with them then? the best players are adaptable and we only need to the best

What about this ?

-------Sterling----
-----------------KDB-
Delph-------------------Navas-
-------Dinho---Toure----------

I think that the opponent coach would have prepared his team to face Silva.Lets suprise him with a team that can run a lot.Besides Silva comes for a long injury and he played already lots of minutes. There no reason to spend his energy in this match. Swansea is a must win game not this.

Yeah I agree partly, but i think with the change in tactics the obvious threat would be Navas, sterling, and KDB coming in at all angles with their pace and skill. Silva's never as the best passer on pitch to keep the team ticking over. I don't like the idea of dropping our best player.

This is all subjective though as we all know Bony will be playing. Shame really as I think it could work...

Not sure what the fascination with laying Sterling up front on his own is. His control is poor, easily knocked off the ball and pretty average at best when it comes to finishing. The only useful attribute he has to play that position is speed. The only one of our attacking players I can think of less suitable for the role is Navas. I would have thought KDB would be a better bet. Probably irrelevant anyway as Pellegrini will almost certainly go with Bony but just wondered why so many people see Sterling as being able to play that role.

I think a win tonight will see us top the table. Sevilla I reckon will be desperate to get back into the Europe League to defend their trophy, so i'm predicting
City win 3-1
Sevilla win 2-1

Not everyone is in the "we're doomed" camp. Hopefully this attitude won't transmit to the players, but I won't hold my breath as the groans will no doubt start with Bony's first poor touch, its time people got behind the team and manager, who knows it might even work.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to a good day, leaving about 11am, going out for a nice meal pre match with my son, then supporting the team, hopefully to be rewarded with a win, and if we're lucky top of the group.

And if it goes tits up, at least you'd have had a nicel meal with good company :)
I like you're attitude to the game.

Yeah Bony wiil play and we should call him Manual Pellegrini from now on as his coaching is coming from the pages of a manual book.
