Reasonably compact to start. Given the players available and the need to make subs, Bony has to feature and I would rather he started, put in a shift and then made way for Sterling than vice versa. Keep the ball, tire them out and then when the game opens up hit them with an injection of pace from Sterling and Navas.

Depends where you go out drinking. There's a good chance if you go to Canal street or some of the 'Trendy' bars in the NQ. You're best staying in a wetherspoons if you want to avoid any dry bumming.

What do you reckon to the football?

I would of thought a bumming in the village or the NQ would involve some form of scented, moisturising lube where as behind the bins of a spoonies you would be praying for rain.

Back on topic. I have said before every CL game for the last 3 years – I hope we set up hard to beat. We need to develop a mentality in this competition. Most of the teams in it play for 1-0 wins in every game and we go in thinking we can score 4 and that should be enough. It might be a bit late now given the only thing in this game for us is a win but it’s a mentality I think we should have been sticking to for a long time and will get you much better returns.

If Bony cant score in that team then he never will.
Thats not far off our best team if were honest. Kompany and Aguero are missing but thats it.

Im not overly optimistic thought tbh. I just dont know what the players need to get them going. Look at whats on offer, look at who is in the team, look at the training ground and the investment - what do they actually need to make them play? It cant always be the managers fault (Although ill be glad to see the back of MP).

I normally get in about 30 mins before ko with the security checks.

We haven't had a CL home game since it happened so with more tourists bringing bags and stuff might be abit longer I don't know. I'll be going in about 7:15
