Given that,you'd still play Kolarov?? His best games are against teams who have no attacking threat so he can swan about at his leisurely pace without concerning himself with the art of defending.

Not the best, I agree, but can't see many other options tbh. If Micah was fit there would be no contest. Could always switch Zabba to left back it's true, but, think Maicon, would struggle badly coming in, at right back against pure pace.

For me Dzeko starting is a must not just because he is on form but for the fact he deserves to start. Also having options on the bench is important and Nasri, Balotelli and Aguero could be crucial later on in the game.
