City Vs Bournemouth Post Match Thread

Spot on. Week after week, x player is shit because we gave a chance away to a premier league side or the manager is tactically clueless because they got the ball into our box etc.

Fucking boring to be honest reading the same shite.

Top of the league with the greatest side in our history and some of the finest attacking football anywhere in the world.

Good job we watch football played by humans rather than characters on a PC screen

We might still win the League, but I fear for a repeat of the White Hart Lane farce.
That "farce" was because we didn't take our chances early on, and right on half time an official was shite/bent, clearly we were dreadful second half, but shit happens. Some of our star players were to blame for not putting good chances away, and had we been 3 or 4 up, as we should have been, the shite/bent official wouldn't have had any impact on the result, and we'd have coasted through the second half comfortably.

Fair enough to a point, but the same thing happened at the swamp last season, when we didn't put away our early chances, and then went to pieces after a dodgy refereeing decision.
We were always going to beat Bournemouth, but we lack the control of the Mancini era to stroll to a comfortable 2-0, (which was my answer to the previous point)

I usually like your posts but if you read page 15 post 148 perhaps you will apologise. :)

You and several other posters clearly have just not read the thread properly.
Yes I apologise. I'd been out then came back and saw your post, not realising it was a lot earlier. Mind you I could possibly throw the charge of not reading the thread properly at you as well as I think the subject had been covered earlier. Anyway, we've established the facts and I got at least one journalist to change his match report.

Really ?

Hmmmm, lets have a look, this season....

WBA 0-3 City
City 3-0 Chelsea
Everton 0-2 City
City 2-0 Watford
Palace 0-1 City

Oh and I'd call 5-1 and 6-1 "strolling to win" personally.

Bring back Mancini !

we played a lot better in those early games, for whatever reason. There was complete control in those WBA/Chelsea/Everton wins that has been lacking since.

I thought Man City fans were a decent bunch... Lots of songs and kept going throughout, however, watching MOTD back, apart from the rendition of Blue Moon, which is the only song 'the ground' knows, you barely heard them on TV...

However, for large parts we, as a crowd, I thought we were really quiet yesterday... It was, I suppose, always going to be disjointed, being split over 3 tiers and no one really being able to hear anyone else...

Was nice to see their fans in their 'singing section' also applauding us when we came over...

Man City fans seemed a decent bunch... Didn't get caught up in all the 'Big Time Charlie' crap of continually taunting us (except for one song), and just focused on supporting their team...

I had plenty of discussion on the way home last night on this, but despite all the money and their global image, I was surprised at the fact they seemed to be a proper club with proper fans... No tourist fans... with an amazing stadium...

some nice comments from the bournemouth fans

'The hot chocolate tasted like janie olivers urine,' is a cracker.

Only relaying what I was told, wasn't saying it was accurate.

Every fucking game now there's at least one minutes applause/silence and usually, like yesterday, two. I'm sick of it. Now it seems we have to join in with this emotional blackmail even when we don't know what or who is being respected/mourned.

I didn't have a clue what people were clapping for yesterday. I think 90% of people clapping just join in without knowing too.
