You keep coming out with this nonsense, which is wrong as (a) there's no such provison in the laws of the game (b) those laws say you're on the pitch unless the ref says you aren't.

Sorry. Others had said it not you. I should have said "People keep coming out with this nonsense".

It works the other way round in fact. As soon as any part of his body is on or goes over the goal-line he's classed as being on the line. So it doesn't make any difference if his foot, his lower leg, his whole leg, most of his torso or even his whole body is the wrong side of the line.
