^^ Not unless they havent spent 2 years (or was it 3?) with the team.
Oh give over with the fucking drama. He was obviously fit to play and the minutes were of benefit to both Kompany and City.I am not very happy that our captain was so keen to risk his dubious fitness in last night's match against Israel especially in view of the existing injury list or that Belgium were so willing to gamble on him coming back not fully fit when the risk was all City's.
If his country is more important to him than City he should be treated to a spell on the bench.

The wailing and nashing of teeth in some quarters regards Kompany is pitiful.
He obviously loves both his country and his club.
I wouldn't expect you to give a monkey about Belguim, Spain or Argentina. The difference is the players obviously do so you get used to it or spend every international break stressing over potential injury.I love my club but do not give a monkey's for Belgium in a meaningless game. Nor do I give a monkeys for Spain or Argentina who deprived us Silva and Kun for must-win matches against the rags and Seville.
I am sure that Pellegrini knows a little more of what is best for City than Wilmots.
You seem to have been arguing with every one who does not agree with you and therefore are not right minded? We are lucky that he seem to have come through it OK but he needs to think of those who pay him first. The next injury I want to see him get is in May from the strain of lifting trophies.I wouldn't expect you to give a monkey about Belguim, Spain or Argentina. I was buzzing to see Kompany back, coming through 60 minutes without issue, setting him up for a start at the weekend. All good in my, and most right minded people's minds.
Of course i've been arguing with anyone who doesn't agree with me. That's the point isn't it? He needed minutes after a lay off, he got them and came through unharmed. Job done. Hopefully he'll start at weekend and our shaky defence will get back to normal. You seem to have been arguing with every one who does not agree with you and therefore are not right minded? A meaningless match for Belgium was not worth the risk for a player who has developed glass legs. Ferguson would not have allowed any player to muck him about.
Is anyone fit for this one?
Don't you worry Pam, some of us have faith in the squad :-)Why have people been constantly whining on this thread? It's been going on all bloody week. Negative Nellies, ffs.
It's a pain in the arse, the injury situation, but if we haven't got a squad that can absorb sufficient injuries to beat Bournemouth at home, then we're in trouble.
Fernandinho flying back from South America today will come into it as well. Fernando and Toure should be enough against Bournemouth.for me if a 1st choice player is fit they play, but i have to admit the Fernandinho yellow card 'situation' is an interesting one. I feel he has definitely been instructed to be more of a breaker this season, yellows are coming his way, and i'd really like him to play in the derby and not get booked against Bournemouth. With Fernando stepping up his game you could argue that it's ok to drop Fernandinho for the B'mouth match but you could also argue that if dinho plays this weekend and gets booked then Fernando can cover in the derby too. tricky, must admit i dont know about this one.
A tough game, I think, factoring in the last week.
One player not being mentioned is Delph, he has been training well last week or so and could really be a factor over the next week.
I assumed this game would come too soon for him. Would be a bonus to have him on the bench though.
