City vs Cardiff Post Match Discussion

We made it harder for ourselves than it should have been as the game should have been sewn up in the first half really. Cardiff didn't threaten the goal too much, but it was still very open. Noone had a field day down the right hand side and I think Cardiff fed off that. But for all the belief they had, I think we always had this game won. Going forward we were superb and, barring 2 defensive lapses for the goals, we were quite solid. I don't remember Campbell causing any problems whatsoever for Kompany and co. so 4-2 does flatter them somewhat. Dzeko had a good game, I think he even megged 2 players and threw in a Maradonna aswell. His standards dropped as the game wore on, but Aguero picked up where Dzeko left off. Navas again was a threat out wide and Toure really is unplayable. For his goal, his thought process must have been 'fuck this, I'm putting this game out of sight'. Fantastic attacking football, defensively I'm sure we'd more aware against a bigger team, so onwards we go.

Read this and click on the videos, they are in awe of us, not bad for a Sky conspiracy. How the tables are turning, this is 5 mins of pure good reading, the videos are good too.

Also explains more about MD, 80 odd passes & 80% of them in the sheepshaggers half.

Now will you please leave the moaners alone. They are having a terrible season you know. Nasri and Kolarov have become key players, Dzeko and Garcia are improving every match and we are playing football made in sky blue heaven. They had high hopes for this Demichelis figure, now you're taking that away as well. This only leaves them with the injuries to Rodwell and Jovetic which is pretty meager stuff for full grown moaners.
Iused to moan about Arthur Mann and Johnny Crossan, nothing changes, full on pro moaners us blues

Dont know if its been mentioned but did anybody notice on the equiliser Zabaleta was on his way to cover Vincent and Campbell tripped him and left Noone with a full net to aim at??? It was a foul in my opinion as it interfered with play because Zaba was at least going to get inbetween Noone and the net!

Not as lazy as Cliff Sear

It's a very good thing that the lower teams are not coming here and simply rolling over. With obviously limited resources, Palace gave us a fight. Sunderland gave us more than a fight. Credit to Cardiff, they gave us a fight too. Firstly, nobody can say "Oh, teams don't play against you, that's why you're going to win trophies". They nearly all raise their game against us. Secondly, it keeps us on our mettle. Nothing would be easier than for players to go to sleep after sticking in 6-0 and 5-0 without reply. It's almost impossible not to be a bit complacent. These teams come and give us the wake up call that we need, over and over again: no easy games in the Premiership. If you want it, fight for it.

I did wonder what Zaba had 'tripped" over
