Very very poor performance from the ref, if that is to set the tone for the season, we're in for another one clouded by crap decisions.

IMO, Savic should probably have gone for two yellows, same with Cole, Lampard and Ramieres. Luiz clearly pulled back Milner in the box, nothing given. And he books Bertrand and Costel for a bit of handbags...in a friendly.

NDJ was superb IMO, so was Yaya (MOM) Aguero and Tevez worked tirelessly up front, Nasri looked good and for the few minutes Dave was on the pitch he was at almost his best. Zab and Milner were good, Kompany well organised. Pants (glad he got that mistake out of the way in a friendly) Kolorov blew hot and cold, Clichy impressive, Savic OK but is out of his depth and he was really the only weak link.

Best bit was seeing Khaldoon there, hopefully he will be at work tomorrow to sort out the transfer impasse we seem to have been undergoing.

Another trophy taken from the Rags whether it counts or not don't care it is something they had which they have had to give to us. :-)

Poor passes plus Torres , Ramires and Mata got the best of him in the midfield . Yes its a kind of harsh to call him a mess in this game but if we can't play NDJ in the midfield against LFC or we would be sorry we did.
