The met office say it's 27 in Wembley tomorrow and 27 in Manchester. I get the impression that when national broadcasters say things like "hot in the South but cloudy in the North" people don't seem to realise this region called "the North" stretches for 600 miles

The English have a warped idea of hot weather. It was 36 today in Chicago, a city mostly known for being windy and cold.

Not that you shouldnt wear shorts and shades. I just laugh when I check the weather report for matches and compare to the reactions on here.

America, where you can experience brutal heat and blizzards in about a 3 month span.
