Hmmmmm....about 550 miles from me. I could do that in about 8 hours. Scottish neighbor is asking if I want to make a weekender out of it. Could get some ribs too. I might have to consider this as they don't seem to want to come to Dallas. Maybe the Dallas support group could charter a bus.

count me in on that...

Re: what is this about?

This Chelsea game is end of season (23 May) and the Asia games are pre-season (July), so it will be a one off game in US.

Re: what is this about?

15 hour drive for me but already planning a trip with some of my Chelsea friends! They don't seem to make many trips over here so have to take advantage of it when I can!

Re: what is this about?

We need to get City supporter sections blocked out. Get some chants going and what not. I'll be trying to get songs started

City v Chelsea 23rd May in St Louis, USA!

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Tour-2013/March/City-to-meet-Chelsea-in-St-Louis-in-May" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Tour-2013/Ma ... uis-in-May</a>

City will cross the Atlantic at the end of May to take on Chelsea at the famous Busch Stadium in St Louis.

It will be the first-ever international football match to take place at Iconic 46,861 capacity stadium in Missouri and marks a rare opportunity for the Blues to play in front of the growing, passionate fan base in the States.

The 2012-13 Premier League champions will take on the 2012-13 Champions of Europe on Thursday, May 23rd at 7.30pm CST.

It is a first return to the USA for City since 2011’s pre-season tour, when they took on LA Galaxy, Vancouver Whitecaps and Club America of Mexico City and the latest trip has caught the imagination of the hosts.

“For two days in May our baseball heaven will be transformed into an international soccer haven,” commented Bill DeWitt III, President of the St Louis Cardinals who are proud to call Busch Stadium home.

It will be City’s third trip to North America in four years, after 2010’s visit to Portland, Atlanta, New York and Atlanta.

“Passion and excitement for soccer in the United States continues to grow exponentially and we’re proud to bring two of the most recognised teams in Europe to such an iconic venue in Busch Stadium,” said Charlie Stillitano, CEO of Relevent Sports, the PR Company promoting the trip.

The Blues have been constantly engaging with America-based supporters over the past few years, with the creation of new Manchester City soccer fields which serve the communities of New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago.

“The summer visit to St Louis is tremendously exciting for us,” said City Chief Executive Officer, Ferran Soriano.

“The Club’s first US tour was in 2010 and we have continued to develop a close relationship with our fans in North America ever since.

“You will now find Manchester City soccer fields in some of the most deserving communities of New York, Miami, LA and Chicago, and loyal supporters clubs in major cities across the continent.

The Busch Stadium is among the most fabled venues in North American sport and home to the St Louis Cardinals, one of Major League Baseball’s most decorated teams, and winners of 11 World Series titles.

We will bring you full coverage of the tour that will immediately follow the Barclays Premier League season here on mcfc.co.uk.

Tickets start at $30 and go on sale April 2 at 10AM CST at Cardinals.com/Soccer or the Busch Stadium Box Office.

There will be a limit of 8 tickets per purchase.

A special pre-sale will be held April 1st for Cardinals Season Ticket holders.
