I'm hoping Pellegrini has learned from Chelsea's last visit, we may be the home side, but we shouldn't blindly think, "were at home, let the other team worry about us" which was indeed our downfall last season, what Shalke did midweek, by nullifying Fabregas needs repeating, much the same way Chelsea took Silva out of the game last season.
Our defensive performance against Munich was good upto a point, but we mustn't let Chelsea push their wing backs up again, and it goes without saying that Yaya, needs a big game! With Navas and Aguero adding real pace to our attack, we must play on the counter, as there no doubting Mourinho's arrogance, he will come to attack....

I'd be over the moon if we repeated the result of Chelseas last visit.

Haha yep me too

It has that big game feel today. Chelsea did a number on us last season although we did have key players out injured. Yes it is only in the season but to give chelsea an 8 point advantage over us would make things very tough so a win is crucial especially given our last 3 results. I'm sure it will be a good atmosphere as it always is when chelsea come to town and if we play as well as we can then we can beat them but Chelsea are more than capable of getting a result. Too close to call.

I think today is the game where our performance really improves and we play as we can. It's a massive game for us and I think we will see something really special. 4-1 (aguero, silva, ya-ya, kompany). This result will provide a platform for an unbeaten run that will take us past Christmas.

Hart,
zaba, kompany, dmc, kolarov,
Ya ya, fern, Milner,
Silva, navas,
Aguero

Hart
Zab Vk Md Clichy
Nav Fern ya Kolo rov
Dave
Serg

Nasri has not enough impact at present

Prefer kolo over Milner today as one up front needs good passing behind their slow cb's sometimes early from deep for serg and kolo has power enough to curl one. Hopefully they will get excited and attack rather than parking the bus and it's essential navas is in our team for big tight games. Pity he was just short on the dzeko pass midweek otherwise that may have been a different outcome. Dave to drop in and nick things when they have the ball.
Pity we bought Fernando for the three games this week and he's out.
Mourinho is that good he won nothing last year? Perhaps MP should say he needs a year winning nothing to get his team ready like boreinho did?
2-0 city same as last year (fa cup)
