City vs Chelsea pre-match thread

Dont really subscribe to the invincibility of Chelsea who in there 2 toughest games were well beaten also the 3 at the back system that has been lauded by everyone as unplayable again not been tested by an attack as potent as ours.
My inkling is that if we play with the same intensity as we did when we played Barca then that will be enough to take the points

May I ask why?

Btw I respect your opinion but I hope many don't think this. Game doesn't have the barometer of meaning to much at this stage.

I said earlier in the season that we will only fail this year if the players didn't buy into peps way of doing things and put the effort in, earlier in the season the application was there even if we made mistakes which were unavoidable, recently the intesinsity has dropped off and some are saying that is because of Europe or International breaks. I am not completely convinced by this argument based on our recent history.

The Game coming up is at home, we have had a break and it is against a top team in form. If we don't win this it will speak volumes to me.

As long as we have Silva, KDB and Aguero on the pitch I'm confident. I think we're giving them too much credit - they're on form and getting results, but hardly blitzing anyone. We've dominated every game other than Barca away this season - let's see if they can keep us out. I doubt they can.

Yeh, Everton 5-0, Hoofchester 4-0 and Leicester 3-0, definitely not a blitzing.

So, City are in the CL yet rotate players, Chelsea are not in Europe yet have played the same 3-4-3 formation with the same players week in week out since the defeat at FC Rainbow Bottlers. Explain to me then how Chelsea can be at an advantage with player freshness?
