Re: Are some our fans really that fickle?

We beat fulham today, in terrible conditions, without our captain, mario doing magic tricks in his box or the industry of yaya in the middle again. Yet, there are still some 'fans' highlighting the lack of kolorov's tackling back???? or Edin's ability to make the ball 'bounce off him'. There are other beaut's like tactical failings, managerial ineptitude and the groundstaff are slacking as the pitch looks shite.

I find it hard to believe, that a lot of these 'fans' stood alongside us at macc or lincoln, or indeed the season where the main highlight was beanie the horse. I'm sure if they were, they would've commited suicide, long before ADUG came calling.

You cannot please everyone.

I was pleasured tonight, though.

Adam Johnson today

Decent performance from johnson. I've been one of his biggest critics but credit where it's due. Thought he put a shift in today. Better retention of the ball and generally making the right choices. Just what Mancini's after.

We were comfortable tonight. Fulham didn't really test us at the back. Going forward I thought we looked much more balanced with Silva playing from the left, and Nasri playing from deep midfield. It gave both players more room to effect the play without getting in each other's way. Aguero was brilliant and is worth two players, which is a good thing as Dzeko is still a passenger for the most part.... ;)

Really happy. Massive three points and I think Chelsea are going to do us a favour tomorrow.

Out of interest mate, what did you think of Johnson's and Kolarov's performances?

We keep bouncing back after setbacks, lost at Sunderland then thump Liverpool at home, lose to Everton then hump Fulham at home.

Re: Adam Johnson today

I agree he was very good especially in the first half. Towards the end before he got subbed out he dissapeared, but very good performance overall today.

Yeah. It's disheartening at times.

I really think it's better to just let people be. You've got those who are perpetually happy and those who are perpetually unhappy. They even each other out.
This is true and very wise. :)
