Who gives a shit? As long as he scores I don't care.

But he is NOT scoring, plus it is STILL relevant - there is no 'I' in TEAM.

+1

It's always worth considering too. If Tevez isn't allowing us to play as greater than the sum of our parts, whilst it may still get us past Fulham it could come undone against say, Dortmund.

Still, if Aguero were fit Tevez likely wouldn't be in the side so it's a bit needs must at the minute.

I know they have a chequered past but Mancini definately sees something, which is why he is awfully keen on yanking him off after 60 minutes. He appreciates that tevez is absolutely world class but i think he also sees that his chronic individuality compromises the teams attack design.
When was the last time tevez scored an important... i mean really important last 10 minutes or later goal. Most of the good things tend to happen when he is off the pitch as the team tend to have a better team approach.

Tevez is a great player but i think he needs to sort his heart out.

Excellent game so far played at a very good tempo. Both sides are working hard off the ball and credit to Fulham who have played really well.

We certainly need another goal here to keep my blood pressure down lol.

Your not allowed to praise the opposition. If its not out of sight by half time we are shite

But it hasn't been an excellent game? There's been countless giveaways from both sides, little combination play, and a rather slow tempo for the premier league.

Can't pass for shit. Dzeko not found a blue shirt once looks clumsy need to improve but were winning :)

Sounds like Dzeko most games ;)

I think nearly everyone was having that problem in the first half (Milner's "to no one" pass, Tevez misreading Zab, Garcia and Barry attempting to will errant headers to teammates). I think they all need to get a good string of passes together and stop playing like we are away.

I have confidence we'll improve, though.

Watching a different game to me then mate.

Both sides have played a high tempo pressing game off the ball which has resulted in possession turning over a lot but that's not been down to poor play, its good defensive work.

Imo of course.

I hate match day threads on here ffs. It's like we should dominate every game, score 10 and play like Barca otherwise it's a gurning match and slate the players.
It's football ffs, any team can perform against any team... As long as we win I really couldn't give a damn if we slow down during games as I know we can up the tempo when required.

An early goal is almost always followed by a less than excillerating performance. When Kun and Nasri come on they'll lift the pace but will also weaken the defence and it seems like clean sheets are the order of the day until we make up the 7 points

We're playing Fulham mate at home we are 1-0 up after 1 min 30 sec and it's still 1-0 at half time. When winning we need to keep applying pressure and we're not. Goal difference could well come into it again and after 2 mins it was a golden opportunity to grab a few goals. Anyway 2nd half we're usually better so here's hoping for a few more goals :)
