City vs Fullham Post Match Discussion

Just got in ,i am frozen stiff. No feeling in my legs.

Not sure if the cold affected the match,a few went down holding their Hamstrings etc.

For me it was a decent enough perform by us,we should have scored a few more. These days though we can win games barely getting out of second gear.I am happy enough.

Class song when we scored our second aimed towards the Fulham fans" you have your day out,you can fcuk off back home.

I am off to lie in front off the gas fire until the feeling in my legs returns.

Great job by Merlin today, ran things all day.

Shame out strikers were so wasteful, could have been 5 or 6. GD counts.

For me Dzeko held the ball up very well but had his usual wank first touch or had to take an extra touch rather than shooting and ballsing it up, shame for the lad as I can see him getting started on the bench again.

The bottom line is, all our strikers are miss firing to a certain extent at the moment but we are getting away with it.

Tevez worked his bollox off today and his sheer work rate troubled Fulham more than once.

Dzeko played ok and had the clearest chances to score but it was one of those days. He has bagged a few of late and has a bit of credit in the bank so to speak.

Sergio back from an injury had some great touches when he came on but again, was wasteful, as he has been all season to be fair.

It will click soon enough up front, we are too good a side for it not too.

-- Sat Jan 19, 2013 6:30 pm --

Was Dzeko misfiring on purpose?

Are you being serious here or just on the wum?

If serious you need to log off and if not, you still need to log off!

your new arent you

Last week we had a great team performance and a great result.
This week was a funny old game, hardly breaking a sweat but hardly creating a great impression, with the same starters we had a great start from David Silva, followed by a very average team performance in the first half with less than 50% possession which is very rare for us. The second half was a bit of an improvement, but we had lots of chances to score a bag full to help our goal difference, but finishing was disappointing, so a good result but disappointing display. Silva & Clichy were MOM winners for me.
With our squad, just imagine how good we can be when we start playing well.
Hope this is our chance to play catch-up this weekend, if Spuds decide to do themselves and ourselves a favour.
