Well onward we go!

I don't expect anything other than a resounding victory in this game, in fact I am expecting a reaction, from all the team!

All discussion in here please

I'd like to see a lot of changes for this game, even if it is only a message to them that performances like yesterday won't be tolerated.

No game the week after so nothing to rest for, I'd like to see us go for the jugular if we go a couple of goals up and not just pass the ball about between ourselves, send out a clear message to the rest of the league.

I'd be shocked if we didn't absolutely twat these. No disrespect to Hull but they won't have the formative atmosphere nor effort that Cardiff had as they won't be at home, and we tend to really come steaming out of the blocks after a shameful result.

If we would have battered Cardiff then you may wonder if we might have become a little complacent at home to a newly promoted team, potentially giving Hull an in.

Due to the spanking we took from Mackay's boys though, I can't foresee anything here apart from an angry team with a point to prove wanting to dominate at home.

With all of that said, Cardiff and many other teams such as Everton, Sunderland and Wolves have previously shown the cheat codes to playing against City and it's up to Hull to try and replicate their success with organisation and effort.

Hull have a trip to Orient tomorrow , in the Capital One trophy , but i doubt that they'll play any real 'names' in the game ..... so they'll arrive at the Etihad having won one league game , and having lost one.

After the Cardiff shambles anything other than a win over Hull would cause an outcry , no doubt about that ..... and not just from City fans either.

We've just GOT to win it , simple as that ....... but i'm led to believe that Hull battled well at Chelsea , until Chelsea scored ... so don't be surprised if they do the same here.

Just on a sidenote , Hulls next game after their Etihad visit is a home game with Cardiff ....... a Cardiff side that will no doubt fail to come up the effort that they displayed against us !

the 4 and 5 nil brigade were out in force for the cardiff thread and this one will be the same, hull will close shop but eventually we should break them down, i go 2-1 with them hitting us on the break first us scoring both in the seond half

Yes ... we had a few posters on that Cardiff thread who were having a right go at other posters for wisely treading cautiously with their Cardiff predictions ....... and perhaps these over-confident' people now realise that football is still 'unpredictable' , certainly as far as City are concerned anyway.

I am sorry it's not unrealistic to expect a team of our quality to beat teams like Hull and Cardiff resoundingly at home, away is a little different for any team
