Look, I know I'm old but I keep telling you; we will win, we will also win the league, now stop giving up on us.

Remember, if you keep being negative then I shall keep posting this:

THE BOYS IN BLUE NEVER GIVE IN, THEY FIGHT TO THE END.

So it's up to you lot now, be positive or the old woman gets you!!! :-)

I admire your optimism.

I just wish the Boys in Blue would stop needing to rely on Lazurus style resurrections.

How about "The Boys in Blue fight from the beginning"?

It doesn't really fit in with the song, but I do take your point and have told them this!! ;-)

THE BOYS IN BLUE NEVER GIVE IN, THEY FIGHT TO THE END. BUT NOW WE ARE FIGHTING FROM THE FIRST MINUTE

Will that do?

I'll tell you on Thursday morning

Important game.

Win and we will finish in the top 4, and can start to put this horrendous run behind us and start thinking that maybe this team still has a future as a unit.

Fail to win, and Pellegrini has to go immediately because our Champions League position for next season is now under threat.

I want to see Bony up front, and Navas and Aguero playing off him with Silva in behind. If I was the manager I'd have been desperate to do that.

I don't think he will play Bony yet.

We should beat Leicester but they will be fresh and hungry after not playing at the weekend. I think draws are no good for them though now really so they have to be a bit more adventurous.

We have to win as the chasing pack all have easy games. We are top of the top 4 table and need to stay that way. If Chelsea slip up then great but the main priority is to make sure we make the top 3.

This game is actually bigger in terms of how Pellegrini will be viewed by the management and us fans.

If he sticks with the traditional 4-4-2 and we struggle to a win or draw/lose this game then he will rightly come in for a hammering both from us the fans and the press.

Some seem to forget that stubbornness is not a good trait to have, 4-4-2 did not work against Barcelona, it did not work against the candle brigade, just because we played that system last season and won the league does not guarantee it to work the following season, mainly due down to the opposition adjusting their style of play to combat the opponents

The bold bit above being the main point because it seems Pellegrini does not adapt to the opposition and sticks with his formation.

We need a win because to say that arsenal and the shite at the swamp are closing in shows the state of affairs we find ourselves in

If we end up winning the league, this league really is the most overrated league in world football. I've been impressed with us three times this season (Southampton away, Sunderland away and Newcastle at home), so for us to win the title being this bad might to do us more harm than good in the long run. It might paper over some large cracks and give people another chance who don't deserve it just because we ended up winning the title. With us being as bad as we've been it might do us better to just finish second or third and really have an overhaul and a rethink about the direction we're going in this Summer. For me, we are miles away from these top sides in Europe. Miles. There needs to be a big shake up for us to start really competing with these teams.

Now i'm not just saying sack the season off because we are going to have to play well right through to not let Arsenal overtake us so i still have the desire to get these games won. But we can't seriously be champions playing this badly can we?

I'd honestly rather not win the league this season and still be the same as we were three years ago - like we are now - in another three years with the same old problems, i would rather have a big shake up this Summer and win the next three league titles in a row and start doing something in Europe!

Why are some people getting fixated by 2 up front? There is nothing wrong with playing two forwards especially at home against Leicester.

Get the feeling it will be a flat game with a flat atmosphere. The key will be to score as early as possible before the crowd gets restless and we start being rash.

Leicester will likely have the classic approach coming here, 8/9 men behind the ball consistently.

I would just like the team to put in some effort and close Leicester down quickly and go for goals from the start.
It's not asking a lot for them all to play like the champions they are!
Let's rip them a part and shut up the critics for at least a day.
