Not really. MP doesn't seem (repeat, seem) to rate the English players in the squad. Only Hart (up until today) was a regular starter; Milner, Rodwell, Lescott and Richards (granted, through injury) have only been bit part players and Sinclair has been shipped out on loan.

If he doesn't start on Tuesday I would say his days are numbered despite VK being so brittle at present.
