City Vs Roma Post Match Thread

Why oh why dont we just go for it and let them worry about us we are so s l o w i find it almost boring

Is it writtern into yaya contract that he cant be taken off unless he is injuryed ?

I find City in europe so frustrating to watch and it doesnt help my blood pressure listerning to that twat scholes why the hell cant we have an ex City player

From City tweeting about Totti never scoring in England

To the first half performance

To then seeing Scholes at HT mentioning how empty the stadium was

To the second half performance

To then Rio tweeting about our stadium expansion and not filling it

Overall what a crap night!

We are simply not ready for Champs league yet... we possibly need another 2 years to really become a threat in this competition...

mentally and probably 1 or 2 serious players... a player who directly runs at opponents and can guarantee continuous goals

possibly another real playmaker...??
why do we need so long?

by the time we are ready toure, company and silva will be out of their prime most likely

chelsea and PSG have done okay...why do we keep making excuses?
I know. In Chelsea's time post take over they have always done well in Europe. PSG have surpassed us and this is their 3rd season to our 4th.

6 years to look comfortable against Ajax and Roma? Do me a fucking favour.

That's the problem. People making excuses for the players. They should be embarrassed of a performance like that, not being told "there there, have another 2 season's of shit performances"

Post of the night!

league...fa cup..league cup.

champs league..who gives a fuck...

fans already voting with their feet.never ever been so delighted to save 35 notes than tonight.
club needs to sort itself out.

Not a comment on the result because I think 1-1 was fair but I have never seen a champs' league match refereed like that.

If our players make as many fouls as the likes of Keita, Manolas or Cole in Rome, the ref will fuck us.
The ref pulled Cole and signalled that he had fouled three times and warned him not to be a naughty boy.

Tactically inept again from Pellegrini-just like Mancini before him, obsessed with 4-4-2 in europe. Our game relies on possession to push teams back, get the full-backs high up to create chances. We were disjointed and hapless as a result of being overrun again in midfield.

These teams don't drop and park the bus like most english teams but instead play a high pressing game that totally nullifies Toure.

Pellegrini's mistakes were compounded by taking off Dzeko for Lampard which meant we had to save the last sub for Kun who frankly was already blowing out of his arse by half time. Lamps for Kun would allowed Kolarov to come on to attack Maicon but instead we had a slow, right footed player against him.

Unfortunately poor management.

In a nutshell

We've already spent hundreds of millions on players, we are league champions if we aren't ready now when will be ? .

Exactly. Even Spurs got to the quarters in their first attempt!

And who did they play?

Bremen, Twente and Inter. Then AC Milan before being knocked out by Real.

Not exactly the group of death we are handed every year was it.
