You really are underestimating Roma, I don't think you ever watched any of our matches in the last 2 years or so, if you're so sure. Not that you should follow la Serie A.

I do agree when you say City shouldn't fear any opposing team, that's a mentality issue, and I do believe you're better side with slightly better chances of winning the forthcoming challenge, but there's no way a team with De Rossi-Strootman-Iturbe-Castan-Astori injured with still a good bench too, which manage to win them all nonetheless, scoring 5 goals in 50 minutes after a 4 year hiatus from CL, can be just decent and easily beatable.

Having said that the 4-3-3 is overall much more versatile, balanced e unpredictable than any 4-4-2, despite the actors, playing both Djeko and Aguero from the start would be a huge tactical mistake, it could have devasting consequences.

The worst error you could make against Roma is leaving the midfield exposed letting us control the game, tiki-taka style.

I'm not being biased here.

not underestimating roma, once city take to the field the other team are second favourites. roma may be a good side but city are outstanding. given a fair ref (laughs) we'll win this tie and make progress.

Did I said you're not favourite? I missed that part, I'm sorry.

I know CIty is outstanding but at least show the opposing fan some respect.

??

I misquoted, I mixed the two answers together, my bad.

I was answering to the other user by agreeing with you in the part where you said him he was underestimating us.

I was answering to you, with the haste I would tipically use with him, when you said we're just decent.

The last part clearly wasn't for you.

Pippa also means handjob.
Are you troubled with handjobs sgerlat? :)

I forgot to say, as you may have noticed before, that Pippa Middleton in Italian is cracking, considering her status the combo is simply brilliant.

It's a tough group. Tougher than the one we played with Napoli and Villareal in terms of opposition, but easier in regards to the fact that we are better than we were then and have improved in Europe.

I think we have to win if we want to progress, but we need a decent ref (finally) to help us progress in Europe. If we win then it completely transforms the group and makes our chances of progressing a lot better considering we would still have to go to Rome. IF Roma get a point then they will be very happy and will know what they have to do against Bayern. It will have a similar play to the game we played with Napoli then.

Long way to go but we need City to really click and put in a dominant performance in Europe - we've never really managed to dominate a game from start to finish in Europe - particularly not at home! Even CSKA and Plzen caused us a few scares last season.

What about the Greeks ?

What about them? I've heard Zeus in he's prime could have easily scored 5, night in night out, no matter who was facing, notwithstanding of his mood and, mainly, of the crowd getting involved, lightining it up back in the days, unreal consistency, such a pro.

Hopefully he doesn't play for CIty.

Romans are safe.

P.s. He probably won Midas' Balon d'Or too, I don't recall.

btw how is Roma compared to an English team?
Very hard to tell before tomorrow match.
Roma is good, it plays by far the best football of Serie A (better than juventus) and has been doing that consistently for the last year till now.
Juventus won the last championship mostly due to be more consistent with very small opponents, sometimes also helped by referees.
If Roma players will be scared or the central defenders (3rd and 4th choise) will be terrible will be an easy win for manchester.
if the opposite it will be very though. Totti, Gervinho and Pjanic can really do amazing things if they are in their day
Is De Rossi injured ?
I know Roma started well last season but no idea what followed next. Do you think your club has changed for better or worst after the take over?

Definitely better!
Yes De Rossi is unfortunately injured. Big advantage for City as he would have helped defense a lot.
