In Block 242 against Juventus we were surrounded by Italian fans. Seemed quite a few season ticket holders didn't bother to attend that game. Ruined the atmosphere. Hope it's not repeated on Wednesday!

Beto's the keepers the weak link, decent shot stopper but always flapping and punching at crosses, Shay Given looks an expert compared to him. They'll have 2 attacking full backs who will get forward at every possible chance, this will allow the wingers, likely to be Reyes plus another to drift inside. At centre back they have 2 big physical specimens in some Polish bloke with a long name and Adil Rami. They'll then have 3 in the middle of the park. None of them will act as a third centre back but none will play off the striker. Up front they'll have Llorente who will try and rag doll Kompany and either Mangala or Otamendi. When they are attacking it will look like a 2-5-2-1 formation, when they are defending it will be a narrow 4-5-1. A decent team but nothing special. 2-2.

I used to sit in that block and it always has fans from Europe in there and many neutrals. Doubt Seville will bring many though.

Against the big teams we need more defensive stability.

Hart

Zabaleta - Kompany - Mangala - Sagna

Fernando - Fernandinho

Navas - Toure - De Bruyne

Sterling
