Some respect wouldn't hurt, he is still most effective player in this team - it's not a fluke, especially when you are part of the title contender team and at this level of football.
I hope he won't start, anyway. Aguero-Baloteli - Mancini should stick to his vision and choice, everything else might prove he's already lost ...

We should be battering these, they're 11pts behind 3rd place Braga and we beat 1st place Porto 6-1 on aggregate. I know football doesn't work with such logic but we're at home and have beaten better teams this season.

Arsenal and Chelsea set an example we have to follow with excellent comebacks against Milan and Napoli (Arsenal didn't quite get the job done but not for lack of trying), two vastly superior teams to Sporting. Tonight is a good time to regain some momentum.

Ahh but, but, Athletic Bilbao are 7th in La Liga and stuffed/ stuffing the Rags.
But we will win no probs..

I'm not sure if he's partial to Balo or not, but just because someone doesn't think Dzeko has played incredible for us this season doesn't mean they automatically nut hug Balo or Kun. You seem to think we only support individual players here when that is not the case in the least bit.


Anyway, we can do this tonight. 1-0 is nothing and we've obviously been very, very good at home this season. I'm in the camp that wants to win everything we can get our hands on so I hope our players are up for this match tonight. After our last two results a win here could be big for the rest of our season and with our next match not til Wednesday I think we can afford to play our best team.
