i loved the effort today, great pressing and lots of good movement off the ball. winning a game against tottenham despite getting robbed by the ref (again!) and hart having a rare bad game, is a great performance. might be the best playing performance of this season so far imo.

As usual we are winning against 11 men and their side-kicks : a hole team of raggs-ass-leaking-refs.

When Maicon entered he made a huge difference, his endball delivery is far superior imho to Zab's standard. It makes you wonder how a 10lb lighter and swoler Maicon would destroy that league !
Silva far much better in the second half, offered at least two winning passes, only the shoot accuracy & power were off, my Motm.

Did we play 3 at the back? From my understanding we played Kolarov as an out and out midfielder. I couldn't count 3 players as CBs.

In other news, anyone catch the commentator when Zabaleta got elbowed "he made a meal of it". Cut to Zabaleta bleeding.

We made it very hard for ourselves.

Missing so many good chances is something we should stop doing. It would be an easy match for us. Instead of that it was very hard to win.


Horrible defending at set pieces, missing great chances. Change it, finish chances well, more discipline at setpeices and we can win a match like this 3-0 instead a hero comeback risking a draw or loss.

Maicon was superb. Just played passes that we're different from our usual fare. We really need a left sided midfielder, it just isn't fair to ask kolarov to play there. Clichy mom for me, he was cutting out so much of their counter helping us keep pressure forward
