I think we have a winner here... pretty certain it will be this line up spot on!

From a punting point of view. I like both teams to score, city win. So much so, I've taken 2/1 on it. Monster.

Zab---Vinny--MDM-Kolarocket
-------------Fernando----------------
Navas--------Yaya------------Silva
----------Aguero----Dzeko---------

Edit: Someone posted the exact same team on the last page, my bad, great minds and that.

same as last season, make a statement, thrash them, and kick start our season.

We are a lot worse off in the forward line this season with Negredo going, who was the main man last season is this fixture.

We need to make a statement, we have enough good players and we can't afford to drop any points at home again this season, our winning run starts here, well it has to, or we're playing for 2nd in October.

In his conference yesterday, Pellegrini said that the only player injured was Mangala- muscle strain but should be fit for Tuesday- but I'm confused as to whether he was referring to those players away on international duty or the entire squad. Does anyone know if Nasri is in contention to play?

Nasri returning to full training end of next week. Pellegrini said it at the end of his news conference.

Is this not the ideal moment to give Sagna a go? I'm worried Zabaletta is going to burn himself out at this rate.

Sagna at Moscow.

Anywhere near last seasons performance against these will do me. Five nowt.
A nice, comfortable 2-0 win will do me nicely. Up and at them from the off. I haven't come all this way over for the same shite I saw against Stoke.

Zero chance of that, but if he's going to play in the Premier League, today would be the day.

Good read about the ultimate City v spurs game

“There was something about the side at that time,” Mullery says. “And they’re all still involved with the club. They’ve lived Manchester City for all those years. And that great camaraderie: very few times in football do you see that happen.”
