A good tonking is in order
Agreed. It's our first "easy" home game in a while and I hope we batter these guys. I'll take any win but a battering would do wonders.

be nice if we could gain points on one of the top two or both so we have the game in hand as a banker, everton may get a point but cant see arsenal slipping up anyway the show must go on 3 pts please

We need to smash them! Get some confidence back before the Cup final.

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Lescott Kolarov
Yaya Ferna
Nasri Jovetic Silva
Negredo

Pants, Richards, Demichelis, Garcia, Navas, Aguero, Dzeko

4-0
Negredo x 2
Yaya
Aguero

Anyone else think Negredo should take a seat for this one? He's not been at his best lately and I feel we can use Jovetic and Dzeko's partnership to our advantage. However, if Sergio is fit then that is a whole different story.

I think Negredo will have a stormer in this one, he will take his frustration out on Stoke and hopefully grab a goal or two. I also think he needs game with Jovetic as they haven't started together much. Just my opinion of course.

Jovetic and Dzeko could work too though.

Fair enough.

I thought of a big reaction after the Chelsea loss but it ended in an awful draw vs Norwich.

Now at home vs Stoke its somewhat easier job, but this match took a lot of energy out of us for surely while Stoke is having a 10 day break until Saturday. I would accept a small win, any win basically as dropping any more points at home could send us not only 2nd or 3rd but even 4th end of season...
