City Vs Sunderland Pre Match Thread

I don't think this is a good thing, we looked low on confidence for some reason vs Norwich, the players weren't playing with their usual freedom. We had a great opportunity against Sunderland to get a confidence boosting win before Chelsea and Barca, now we're going into those matches off the back of 2 bad results, without scoring a goal.

Joe you worthless sack, didn't even make one save tonight. GET RID

EDIT: Thought this was the post match thread.

this is why it's ridiculous for these sorts of games to be on a weeknight, should be a 30 or 40 mile rule, Spurs should not be up at Newcastle tonight and Swansea should not be travelling to Stoke, nor Palace to Everton, should be relatively local derbies if you're going to have weeknight fixtures.

that sounds like too much common sense for the F A

The football bureaucrats/apparatchiks don't five a stuff for the fans in this situation.

I am relieved that the game has been called off

The conditions were horrible and I had no confidence in the starting 11 due to the injuries and the norwich performance.

This just might be our year, things are going our way, yaya not getting banned, players coming back from injury, our rivals dropping points, hope it keeps getting better and better for us and long may it continue.

Thank God for everything

A Man Utd win would top it off (LOL).
Repent your sins! We are only allowed to pray for a scum draw! Nothing more!

The second commandment from the book of blue moons:

"Thou shalt never pray unit*d to gain more than one point in any given game, even against a rival of gods own team, as any victory for unit*d is a victory for the devil."
amen brother amen

If nothing else the players will have had a good rest. A week without a game. They should be fresh and ready to go against Chelsea.

This will also benefit the team for Barcelona next week.

And when we play Sundetland in the COC final, we should have all our plyers back and fit.

The negative is another rearranged game. United and Sunderland.

but better to play them IF we keep Kun, Nasri and Fern fit, as well as giving Jovetic extra fitness time and Rodwell/Milner/Micah the chance to get over injuries.

We could finally not be far away from a full strength squad for the first time this season.
