We miss Silva's movement and creativity tremendously and we don't seem to have a player that can step into his role. Hope he's back soon.

I think next summer will be the time to decide if we just cut our losses with Nasri. If we can't integrate him with Silva then he's got to play like Silva when he's on his own. Unfortunately he does neither, but worse still, he doesn't seem to do anything else either. If you can't play like Silva then fine, perhaps wide forward? No. CM? Doubtful. Striker? With all our options not a chance.

He's a tidy footballer and seemingly a good personality, but ultimate he just feels like a player without a position. And we could still get very good money for him next summer if we decide to replace him with someone else (Ideally a dedicated pacey wide forward).

I think we'd be better off replacing one of our strikers with someone a little more versatile. Balo seems the obvious choice given his inconsistent performances. Nasri only occasionally produces a dominating performance, but he does generally contribute over the course of 90 minutes.

3 strikers and 3 deeper attackers seems more balanced than 4 and 2 to me. We need more ball players who link midfield and attack, create chances and retain possession further up the pitch.

If we want a pacy wide player, we should have bought one Mancini intended to use, rather than Sinclair.

Amen. Get Maicon and Zabaleta back and ease Richards into the middle instead of having him bomb up and down. Curb his enthusiasm now and add more years to his career.

Not a great performance but you have think they're just knackered with internationals, travel, games every 3 days, champs league etc. And we bought more players to cover for injuries and most of them are out as well.

Good news is we won, we're one point off the top, we're ahead of the rags, and we have a week to rest, get players back, and prepare for the next stretch.

We had 10 shots on goal. If you're going to support someone's point at least get your head straight.

We didnt have a hard midfielder like NDJ in there, also with our injury list atm, zaba, garcia, silva, milner, it will be difficult to take charge

It's not just about us. They played well too. Laudrup wanted victory, they came to win this. 11v11, we dug in and got the win.
