I wouldn't think Clichy would be in instead since Kolo has been there for the preseason experiments with the formation.

I guess Bobby expects a lot of defending from Clichy, and a lot of attack from Kola.

So would I as it would mean we are winning easily. I would be worried if it was the other reason and we lost a key midfielder early as he is far far from ready for the premiership.

Kompny and Lescott in the league has not been great. Unless you missed it, we have only had 1 shut out in the league. That hardly constitute's "great." And Mancini is switching around because nothing has worked yet.

It looks like a 352 with Kola and Micah, running down the sides. But for my money, it is time to dump some of our players at the end of the season. We are bloated in some areas, and lacking in others. Bloated at CD (but not good enough>) Bloated at CM but not good enough. Short at AM, and Bloated at Striker but not good enough...

But all that is for a later discussion. Time to support the boys now!

I agree with you except in striker. Really we just need to see the back of Balo for anything approaching 20 million and put Guidetti (as long as he has fully recovered, the poor lad) in his place. Aside from that, you are absolutely right.

I think I should rephrase the final part. "we atr bloated at striker." exclude the "not good enough" portion. But in a counter intuitive sense, being bloated at Striker makes us not good enough, coz Mancini is trying to get all of them playing time. Rather than stiking with just a core few.

Personally I think we really only need 2 strikers on our book. We have 3 players who can play support striker in a jiffy. So no need having four. I also think we should only be starting 1 striker anyways. A 4 2 3 1 is my favored starting formation anyway. SO we really only need 2 out and out striker in the 1st team. And personally Aguero and Dzeko will be my 2. Tevez and Balo can go at the end of the season. But in their place add 2 AMs. Preferably (Isco and Jovetic). Taking the number of AMs to 5 (Silva, Nasri, SInclair, Isco, Jovetic). Drop Yaya Permanently to CM. Let him control passing from deep next to Garcia or Milner. Drop Roddy to CD. Sell Lescott and Kolo. CD becomes (Komps, Nastasic, Roddy) with RIchard as quick cover.

That will be my team. Barry stays as our elderstatesman. And so do the fullbacks. That should be our squad. But what do I know.
