Better team overall imo but were lucky not to be three down, They had a goal wrongly disallowed at 2-0 right before Yaya scored. Swings and roundabouts. You can bring up all kinds of ifs and buts or you can just say it wasn't a good day and move on.

It was never gonna be a good day from the moment they scored against the run of play , and Kompany departed injured ......

but once again we show so much more in the second half of a game , than the first half , and that NEEDS adressing !

Definitely mate. I agree there's a few problems that need addressing. I think the main problems are mental, they never seemed worried (I'm sure they were but they never showed it) whereas numerous City players seemed to get riled up and lose their composure/concentration. It's also worrying how vulnerable the defense looks without Kompany, I don't like relying so much on one player because you never know when he might get hurt like today or hit a bad run of form.

Clichy cost us that game by dicking around near the area. Fcking criminal what he did.

He can have an excuse for being probably far from 100% fit but still made mistakes. Letting Valencia cross for second goal and those mistakes around the box.

He cost us with two yellows vs. Chelsea away too. In very big matches 50% of the time he is faultless but another 50% of the times he is the defender that cost a lot big goals to Arsenal earlier.

But still lot more risk-free option than Kolarov.

Tevez moving out of the wall.....

Why?

Why?!?!
because Rooney was completely unmarked and moving towards the edge of the box
So you arrange a 4 man wall, then don't replace one who leaves it?

Ok, how did that work out

Mancini on Mario.

"I love Mario but I think it's important for him to start thinking about his job. He can't continue to play like today"

"When a player has this quality you can't understand he will throw it out the window. This is incredible"

On the free kick.

"We had only two and a half (players) in the wall"
Damn. I definitely feel for Mancini on this one. We could have won this one. Or at least gotten one point.

I think today demonstrates an air of arrogance that we have had this year, nobody wins the league without fire in the belly. So far this season we have seen precious little on display.

For the life of me i can not understand how Mancini came to a decision to start with Ballotelli rather than Tevez.

We should of won the game on chances but credit to the rags, they took their chances.

Mancini is walking a dangerous line with Ballo, for the first time i am questioning if or owners may feel the time is right for a change.

Joe did not cover himself in glory as well.He should have demanded the ball back and a good strong clearance would have gave us the draw.

Mancini needs to have a clear out and get rid of a few under performers. Can't have players like Zabaleta, Tevez and Clichy running themselves into the ground and putting their bodies on the line only to be counteracted by players like Nasri and Balotelli who couldn't care less.

Thought Yaya was also lacklustre today. Took his goal well, but for such an imposing figure he goes down like a sack of spuds. The dive when he went on one of his rare bursting runs was embarrassing. Sergio wasn't great either, think he needs to score a couple of goals against some bottom half clubs to get his confidence back.

Must mention Nastasić, he was incredible. Strange to think that last season we had Savic at our disposal.

I'm sorry but i'd change managers at the end of the season, every fucking game Balotelli starts its playing with 10 men, why on fucks earth was Kolo picked ahead of Lescott?

Kompany, Hart, Yaya haven't been as good as last season.
