It something that has always happened at City including the Maine Road days. I can't explain it but think it looks bad especially when we're playing and winning so well.
I suspect it was compounded today with the Mancunian Way being closed, or so we thought.
With regard to empty seats how come there was so many during the game in what I understood was a sell out game.

Can't understand it myself . . they've paid to see and experience the whole game but peg off with 5 to go plus added. Barking mad.
I always stay to clap the lads off the pitch and am often ashamed to be stood without anyone next to me.
Cure for it? I think that a good rousing chorus of 'we don't leave early' at about 10 minutes to go, followed by cat calls, hisses and boos at anyone who makes for it.
Should shame most of them into a bit of common sense.
