City vs Villa - Post Match Discussion Thread

Did anyone notice Hargreaves holding his leg almost as soon as he came on? I don't know if it was an ache or something but he seemed to move gingerly at times, a worry.

From Rob, Villa fan in Brum, via text: "The Premier League is increasingly looking like being all about the top five and everyone else just being the whipping boys and it is just going to get worse. I might stop watching if it continues because sport is only interesting when you do not know what is going to happen and the field is open.

Guess he missed the last 25 years.

for the umpteenth time...until city get their arses in gear and create quick exits and a better flow of traffic in & out of the ground, this will Always happen

in fairness i think the ground is pretty easy to get away from compared to others or maine road, i didnt leave early and dropped my mate off in reddish and was home in hazel grove before six, if i left early would have saved myself fifteen minutes, no big deal

dont get what evryones rush is

you didnt get stuck in traffic as everyone had left early mate..it would have been a different story had everyone left at same time

Another very one-sided game which became almost embarrassing at times

Looked like Villa had given up in the 2nd half

Hope Balotelli isn't too badly injured. Why didn't Dzeko come on for him when he was obviously struggling? There were more goals to be had.

Fantastic entertainment so complaint ends there

Everyone played well, but I thought Milner was the stand out player. He always plays well

I dont know why i started think this but

Does he deserve a new contract now?
How long will he stay?

If we continue in the same vein and win things then obviously it will be his decision when he leaves but i worry that after 3-4 seasons he might want to go home and manage national team.
Great day for us but for the first time ever i find myself worrying about a manager maybe leaving one day

Im such a tart
I don't think there's any doubt that he will go back home eventually. Let's just enjoy the ride while we can, yes?

And let's hope that "eventually" turns out similar in length to Proffesor Yaffle at the Library !

Re: Joe Hart needs to pay up...

It must be nice for Joe compared to some of the shit last year. Such a difference from games last season like Arsenal and Tottenham where he was under siege from the first whistle.

Re: Leaving Early

Its just so wrong for people to leave in the numbers they do, and is now become the norm. The problem is that at some time this season we are going to be either 1 down or level with minuites to go, we are going to need insperation and intimidation to give us an edge, them lot accross town score so many late goals and play right till the final whistle and they get loads of backing from a full stadium. Its a superb debate this, Im all for people having the right to leave occasionally, BUT every week NO WAY. Now I can see a situation where it could get a tad tasty if this pathetic trend continues. So fuckin stay and support the team you weirdos. Weve started questioning people who sit near us, Im sure others are doing it. Its just not right, end of !!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Leaving Early

Look at the Chelsea game now on ESPN. Into stoppage time and the ground is pretty much full.

Can't argue about accessibility either as Chelsea's is one of the worst in England for that.
