Re: Joe Hart needs to pay up...

I think his save at 0-0 paid his admission fee. ;)

Had they scored first it would have felt like ONE OF THOSE GAMES AGAIN! Good save Joe. But I think he's got a crap view - he has to look at Joleoninho's and Vinnie's arses for all the match, and then Kolo came on with his de luxe arse. Yer wouldn't want to pay for that view.

From Rob, Villa fan in Brum, via text: "The Premier League is increasingly looking like being all about the top five and everyone else just being the whipping boys and it is just going to get worse. I might stop watching if it continues because sport is only interesting when you do not know what is going to happen and the field is open.

Guess he missed the last 25 years.

It was a top 3 teams from 2005 to 2011

Re: Leaving Early

I pay for my ticket, I'll leave when I want..... why do you even bother going? Can understand it on a night match, but for a Saturday 3PM?! 4 - 1 win, you should want to clap your team off!

Look at the Chelsea game now on ESPN. Into stoppage time and the ground is pretty much full.

Can't argue about accessibility either as Chelsea's is one of the worst in England for that.

they obviously dont have 20,0000 fans who have an urgent appointment half hour after the game, not to mention the insufferable heat you get in manchester being stuck in your car listening to the radio for an extra 20 minutes.

Leaving Early

I left on 87 mins, as I always do.

I wanna get home, I don't care if the half hour extra I have at home is spent doing either fuck all, having a meal or sleeping, it's sod all to do with anyone else. I couldn't care less if the players didn't see me there when they clapped at the end, I was there singing for 87 mins and left when the game was won.

Big fucking deal if you stayed 3 mins extra, I'm sure the players think you're a star.

Leaving Early

The people who dont leave early and moan about people who do usually just sit on blue moon moaning about it so no wonder they're in no rush to get back

Re: Leaving Early

There are times when it has to be done due to train times etc especially night matches.

I think for most though its just habit and goes back to MR days.People were so used to watching shit they pissed off early and the habit has stuck.

Our home games are becoming so easy that people just dont seem to be bothered. The Napoli game which could have gone either way and we were chasing a winner wasnt as bad.

I dont think the fact that the last 15 mins is becoming a foot off the gas exercise for the players helps
