To all those saying it's a mickey mouse cup, it was our 2nd string and stop panicking, i think there are some serious issues mancini needs to sort out. It wasn't villa's strongest side either. Team spirit doesn't seem a patch on last year, we aren't working hard enough off the ball, players are being rotated too much and a few of them can't be happy about it. Fulham is a massive game that we must win, preferably with a clean sheet.

Is there no one in the team to inspire the players to play better when they are down and losing?? It seemed like there was practically no defense today..a total lack of cohesion

Wonder what Mancini is thinking now, and what is he going to do to stop this slide? He needs to stop the tinkering and go back to the tactics that worked perfectly last season..
Something also needs to be done to shock our players into action, rather than the lethargic performances they have been dishing out recently..


**Had a horrible day today, and was really hoping that at least City would cheer me up with a win, to no avail :(

It's not really the point that it's a shit competition so who cares because some of our squad players will need competitive games to stay sharp and be ready if called upon and this was a competition to fulfil that requirement. Also 28,000 fans also paid to watch that and deserved better

3 rounds (4 games) less of this cup than last season now lets concentrate on getting it right for the ones that matter.

Playing the likes of Balo, and Tevez, for 120 minutes in this was a ridiculous decision though.

Had that Tevez free kick gone in instead of hitting the bar there would be none of the hysteria on here tonight.

Mancini out? He's won us three trophies in two seasons. People need to get a grip.He cant win either way. Play his best 11 and they'll be those who criticise him for not saving them for the league. Play kids and he'll get panned for not taking the chance of a trophy seriously.


I'm off to bed and rest assured our poor form is not going to cause me a sleepless night, as I've said already tonight, I'll save that for come April/May when there is no sign of any silverware and we're looking like we might not even qualify for the Champs League, then we'll really have something to get our knickers in a twist about
