A very decent,comfortable win. I thought Clichy and Edin were a little under par - 7/10 for all the others. Balotelli looked lively when he came on as well.
Dowd is 50 years of age and is a good reason that Premier League Referees should not be older than 35 years of age.
He was too old and slow 4 years since when Vidic pulled back Agbonlahor in the Carling Cup Final and failed to send him off as he was miles behind play.
He is clearly 2-3 stone overweight and really is laughable.
My mate who is a PGMO premier league linesman who has recently left the Army told me that he did his fitness test the same day as Dowd and that Dowd struggled like fuck to cover enough track distance in the allocated time.
In short, past it and should be stood down.
