Given this a lot of thought, and I honestly think we should kick one way in the first half, and the other way in the second half.

At last! A little common sense.

Earlier on in this I I didn't want it to change on a superstitous/tradition ttain of thought.

But really as long as we are playing good football and winning home games, I couldn't give two fucks which way we kick to.
I will say first half sat the atmosphere was poor in the south stand, was that because we were attacking the other end??
Second half was better with 110/111 corner being top notch all through it and the south stand perking up a bit, 120 though where I am was not, and normally it joins in every game, means nowt though as you get games where it's quieter than others.
With 4 games left it makes sense to trial it now though see if the atmosphere is better because of it.
As for the north stand it was better before it was the family stand, a couple who sit near us were displaced when it changed say the same, would have been better to have had one or two blocks as a family section rather than a whole stand.

Lastly on the 1894 group, they do a good job bringing colour and life to a section of the ground, so no need to be slaggging them off.
Yes some may disagree with some of their stuff,and they shouldn't be beyond critisism, but no need to be so heated we are all blues.

Now whatever gave you that idea? It was a simple point that you wouldn't be quite so gobby and abusive if you met us face to face - we're not in the business of making threats but we do feel if anyone has issues with us that are clearly as serious as yours then instead of spouting off from behind your keyboard it might be best if you get it off your chest on a match day Mr Ten Men. However, I gave you the chance of a get out and to put your points forward in a constructive matter - if you're not happy about fans investing their spare time and a fair bit of effort in trying to improve the atmosphere and perhaps even think you can do a better job then you can contact the 1894 Group via Twitter or Facebook.

As a former South Stander (currently exiled in the East Stand Block 110 where the atmosphere is beyond shite) I'm very much in favour of this change! It's always pissed me off that the players chose to kick towards the stand that contains the least vocal fans i.e. the family stand where the kids are playing on their ipads rather than watch the match. Not to mention it seems to be the most sparse of all the 4 stands now too - Saturday was the worst I'd seen it in ages. So from a purely selfish point of view I'm glad.
