Funny because the scum dont have a team there is loads of positives from the bbc

An article on BBC Breakfast on Friday and a longer one on the current affairs programme yesterday morning both about the lack of women in sport went quite big on the rags, called the 'biggest club in the world' not having a woman's set up at all, with lots of pics inside and outside the swamp.

Both articles briefly skated over City Ladies, so briefly that I didn't really catch what they said in the single sentence.

I am not sure whether the crap coverage was due to the success of City Women not suiting the tenor of the article or a deliberate ignoring of anything to do with City in favour of getting any reference to United on screen with lots of red and white free advertising.

I wonder how many don't go and watch the women (and U18/U23) games because of the Academy Stadium ? Some people have said it's cold, but for me , it's the lack of stuff like a bar, (some people do like a beer before the game or at half time), the poor food kiosks, the only hot food being basically a hotdog . Also I think the stewarding is really over the top too for these sort of games. That we need is for a local none league club to run the stadium, because the guys at the moment don't seen to have a clue .

You don't go and watch fantastic football at the academy stadium because it's "cold" and you can't get a beer. Haha unbelievable.

And in what way is the srewarding OTT for a 23's game? You walk in find a seat and enjoy the game and stewarding isn't relevant!

Well done MCWFC - that's what we want - total domination - lol - btw that was never a pen and was covered dreadfully on the BBC women's football - absolute joke.

I go the games , and what's wrong with having a beer , maybe you would like anybody to get their face painted and play games at H/T . As for the OTT stewarding , is there really any need to have 8 or 9 stood up at the front of the stand, blocking the view of people !

I have no idea how women league running but I do enjoy the clip from youtube. I hope we will be invincible again next season September 2017. Tell me if I am wrong, there are only 2 teams, us and Chelsea, that run in professional way other are semi-professional. We have training session every day, our player don't have to find the job we pay for them to play football. That is why we dominate the league within 3 years which is good for players and for national team. I just watched the clip of our 17 year olds girl Stanway hattrick again Sunderland, 2 from her right feet and one from left (all from outside the box) and thinking she is talented girl and she can do that because she is developed by professional. Then I start to think our club are doing the good thing to support them. I still think women professional league still have the long way to go. It is not good excitement as men team but I still can enjoy watching team play and also wow sometimes how they play like that.
Good move from our club, long may it continue

Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton have just been guests on Newsround on CBBC (BBC kids news programme). Really positive stuff with Steph talking about the positive contribution made by Pep at the club. My daughters were dead chuffed, nice to see.

I think he’s got a point from the catering side, especially when the club are trying to promote the “doubleheaders”, with the Women/EDS teams playing before a big game at the ETIHAD, (I assume there’s one tonight)

I’ve done this a couple of times, and on both occasions felt a sense of irritation with the ridiculous queues and prices for such a small crowd.

I’m not expecting a gourmet meal, but equally, if we're spending 4-5 hours on site, is it too much to expect more than a £6 meal deal?
